If the faces below look familiar it’s because they belong to Becky and Isaac, whose sunny beachside June wedding you first experienced on this very blog not too long ago. Well- they’re back! And they brought some more loveliness from their Big Day with them for you to enjoy. And of course we have to thank Crissy (of Christine Farah Photography) for her always amazing, never disappointing mad skills behind the lens!

Lisa and Mark had a lovely, intimate wedding at the gorgeous Resort at Pelican Hill. I adored that the wedding was a genuine reflection of the two of them- a real celebration of their union shared with their closest friends and family. You could tell it was everything they wanted it to be by the giddy grins on both of their faces the whole day. And not just their faces, but their guest’s faces as well. Everyone was so happy to be there to share in the occasion, and it made the day (and evening) all the more enjoyable. Thanks to the dynamic duo of Rog and Lyndzee (of EP Love Photography) for photographing the day (and for being all-around cool people).

Seeing as both Lisa and Mark are in the fashion industry, their ring shot was very fitting.

What’s more perfect on a cool winter day than a look back at a sunny and warm June wedding? Even if you caught Kevin and Jenny’s gorgeous Pelican Hill wedding the first time around, below lies even more beauty and fun than you could have imagined. Thanks to Christine Farah Photography (as always) for being the photographical genius that she is.

Exactly one year ago on this love filled day, Casey and Kyle tied the knot! Happy anniversary to the two of you- hope you had a blast in Vegas celebrating the occasion:) Here’s my favorite portrait of the two of them from the Big Day (photo by Tony Florez Photography).

Looking back through pictures from last year’s weddings gets me inspired and energized for all the fun in store for 2010. Nina and Jared’s wedding was definitely a fun and memorable day filled with lots of beauty and laughter. Here are a few never before seen photos compliments of Christine Farah Photography.

Helen and Johnson are getting married soooo soon! As in; in two weeks soon. I couldn’t be happier for them or their super bright and shiny future that I know lies ahead. They’re kind, they’re smart, they’re succesful, they’re a gorgeous couple- they’ve got it all. And they also have a little doggie Kimchee who I can’t wait to meet as he makes his grand Ring Dog debut on the Big Day. Check out their fashionable engagement session courtesy of their photographer Sam (of Sam Lim Studio):

Sometimes it’s just so obvious that all things happen for a reason. Case in point: wayyyy back in August, Crissy and I attended an industry mixer. The mixer was the usual fun- catching up with colleagues we hadn’t seen in awhile, taking some time out of the craziness that is ‘wedding season’, having a sip (or two) of champagne and some sweet treats. And then it took an interesting turn- you see Crissy happened to strike up a conversation with a team of up-and-coming event designers who call themselves Sugar & Fluff. The name definitely stood out, and talking with them made it very apparent that they had ideas galore and were just itching to let them out upon the world. Flash-forward to December, and after months of e-mails and planning, the following photo shoot was born. A collaboration between the superbly innovative team at Sugar and Fluff, the fantastical creative direction and photography of Christine Farah Photography, and making-things-happen coordination by Platinum Weddings by Kerrie (me!), and a list of quite a few other talented vendors; the shoot encourages couples to step outside the box when designing their wedding.
You can read more about the design inspiration in our lovely feature on the Green Wedding Shoes blog. For now, I present our ‘Steampunk marries Anthropologie’ photo shoot:

Courtney and Blake are one truly extraordinary couple. Their deep commitment to not just each other, but also their faith and their families is absolutely inspiring. Of course their outer-beauty is hard to miss; but it is their inner-beauty that radiates and captivates as you get to know them. And as far as I’m concerned they were dream clients in that not only were they decisive and trusting in my input, but they allowed me to take their thoughts and run with them. Courtney’s initial vision for the day- black and rich shades of scarlet with LOTS of bling factor- was suited perfectly to their just-before-Thanksgiving wedding date (the couple picked their wedding date to work around baseball season, as Blake plays for the St. Louis Cardinals). And lucky for us the weather gods smiled upon us:) From start to finish, their day was a perfect reflection of them both as individuals and as a couple- fun, elegant, glamorous, and over-flowing with love and happiness. I am thrilled to showcase my favorite images (and there’s a ton of them!) from the day, courtesy of Cean One Photography.
Courtney’s shoes were her ’something blue’.

Drop.Dead.Gorgeousness! I especially love the picture of Courtney laughing- perfect moment captured.
I am almost 100% certain that Ines Di Santo designed Courtney’s gown with her specifically in mind. I mean, really; don’t you agree?

A quick smooch during their first look. So sweet!

Love how the light breeze caught Courtney’s veil for this one.

A big influence in selecting the Historic Mission Inn for their wedding was the gorgeous St. Francis of Assisi Chapel that they were wed in. A main highlight of the chapel is the the eighteenth century 18 karat gold leaf Rayas Altar. Pictures definitely do it no justice.
The Tiffany stain-glass windows you can see above are the other main feature- definitely a site to behold.

Here is a taste of the decadent and dramatic details- I told you there was no shortage of glitz and glamour!
