My wonderful mother came down for a ‘girls only’ visit these past few days (hubs was away on business) and we had such a fantastic time. Of course we recollected on my own wedding (as I’m sure we will for at least the next decade). At one point, she mentioned how much of a treat it was to have her hair and make-up done for the day; this is something that she had never had done before and to her, it made the day all the more special.
In planning your own wedding, be sure and check if your mom(s) want to be treated like a star that day as well (if the budget allows, of course). Afterall, it is an important day for her as well- and that way she will look and feel like a million bucks! Here is a picture of my favorite lady on that day; isn’t she pur-dy!:
