I always tell my to-be-wed’s that I know exactly how they feel. The months (in our case, 18 of them) leading up to the wedding can’t seem to go fast enough; time just creeps by sooooo slowly and the decisions seem neverending. And then bam- life ‘post-wedding’ seems to go by in the blink of an eye.
Where exactly our first year of marriage went, I have no idea. It seems to be a big, wonderful blur of new adventures and new additions (Riley!), good times with friends and family, and lots of memories to bring with us into the next year. What I do know is that life only keeps on getting better and better each day that I get to experience with Greg by my side. Someone spouted out this quote on our wedding day, “May you look back on today as the day you loved each other the least”. At the time it was hard to imagine ever loving someone more than that day when we made the promise of forever, but it is incredible how much love can continue to grow as the years go by. It is almost as if it is a living thing- constantly evolving and making for new feelings and new happiness. Here’s to year number two- and looking back on today as the anniversary we loved each other the least:)
