Susie and Tom are a match made in heaven. Their wedding was a beautiful representation of the joining of two lives, two cultures, and two hearts. And having selected Pelican Hill as the location, the celebration of their union was inevitably bound to be top notch and of course, gorgeous! I was super excited when I heard Yvette Roman (of Yvette Roman Photography) was on-board as their photographer. I have heard (and seen!) wonderful things of Yvette and she definitely lived up to her amazing reputation, and then some. See for yourself the beauty that she captured:

Susie had no less than four dress changes- her classic light ivory bridal gown from Vera Wang, her Korean Hanbok, her Chinese Qipao, and her evening gown. All of them looked absolutely fantastic on her!

A special guest of honor that day was Susie and Tom’s precious fur-baby, Yoda. She was so well-behaved, and couldn’t have been more adorable in her wedding attire.

The flowers integrated shades of white and dark blue- which looked gorgeous against the bridesmaids midnight blue gowns. And I loved Susie’s cascading bouquet- very classic and elegant.

We started the day off with a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony where Tom had to work to gain entrance to the Bridal Suite…

…Susie was waiting for him inside; they were ecstatic to finally see each other.

The couple then honored their family members by bowing and serving them tea.

After, they headed out for some pre-ceremony portraits; Susie really couldn’t be any more beautiful!

The view from the Rotunda lawn, where the ceremony took place, is absolutely breathtaking. And to add to the beauty it was a gorgeous day!

Married!
