Stephanie and Simon are one hot tamale couple whose love and passion for each other is awe-inspiring. We had an incredible day when they got married at the Skirball Cultural Center and the team at Avec Lumiere Production was there to capture it all flawlessly on film. Their Same Day Edit feature we revealed to guests during the reception was an absolute hit- see for yourself what had the room buzzing:)

Nicole + Brad’s Wedding, Pelican Hill, Newport Coast

Nicole and Brad had the definition of an elegant and timeless wedding at Pelican Hill this past Spring. The overall palette was as classic as it gets- shades of ivory and white with touches of black here and there. We had fun working with the talented crew at Nisie’s Enchanted Florist putting together the decor- and it all turned out so gorgeous! My good friend Robert Evans (of Robert Evans Studios) was with us to photograph the day. Here are some of my favorite images from the wedding- enjoy:)

Beverly + Nelson: The Movie

Beverly and Nelson are the cutest together! They make each other absolutely light up- and in turn, everyone around them shares in their happiness. Their Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel wedding was absolute perfection- and the traditional Chinese Tea Ceremonies earlier in the day were the perfect prelude to the rockin’ celebration. The guys at FortyOneTwenty outdid themselves with the final edit! See for yourself…

Natalie + Joey: The Movie

Natalie and Joey are one cool couple. They love a good time, and love each other even more. And I happen to love their taste in music! Yvonne + Jonathan, to-be-wed

Yvonne and Jon (whose wedding is coming up this May at the Walt Disney Concert Hall) are total foodies, and they love experiencing new dishes together. So they came up with the adorable idea to have their engagement session serve as more of a lifestyle shoot, and their lovely photographer Drew (of Drew B Photography) followed them through the preparation of a romantic meal- from Farmers Market to the dining table. I just love how it turned out- see for yourself!

Sherri + Patrick: The Movie

Sherri and Patrick are so very near and dear to my heart. They are the kindest, most adorable couple and their gorgeous Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel wedding not too long ago definitely left a smile on my face. We were lucky to have the guys at Threaded Films along to capture the day on video and produce a Same Day Edit only they could put together. I am going to let them explain because they are the creative geniuses behind this work of art. From their blog:
“Sherri knows how to create amazing origami, thus she took on the task of making customized origami cranes for all 170 of her guests. When she told us about this, we couldn’t help but insist that we film the process and make it part of the Same Day Edit. We took the opportunity to not only incorporate the Origami into the same day edit, but also weave the storyline with folds and transitions that in our crazy minds. . . . felt like video origami. There are so many little touches in this one that scream Patrick and Sherri. Some are subtle (the ode to their endless love of video games) and some are blatantly obvious, like their four legged child, Kujo. This little guy stole the show and became one of the more significant threads through the storyline in the edit. We are so happy for Patrick and Sherri and we truly hope that we did them proud with our interpretation of an Origami Same Day Edit.” Enjoy!
