Vicki and Tom’s wedding at the ocean-front Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel was, in a few words, delicate and pretty. The fresh palette of ivory, shades of yellow, and touches of red set a lovely background for the celebration of their union. A stellar team of vendors and gorgeous weather were just the icing on the cake! A great time was had by all, and it was (as always) such a breeze to work with my friend Sarah (of Sarah K. Chen Photography). Her images captured the beauty of the day perfectly- enjoy:)

Sophia + Jeff’s Wedding, Pelican Hill, Newport Coast

Sophia and Jeff’s glamorous and intimate Winter wedding at the always first-class Pelican Hill was definitely a fantastic way to end 2011. I love Winter weddings here in California- chances are, the weather is crisp but sunny and everyone seems to be in good spirits with holiday cheer and lots of love and family time filling up the season. Sophia is just the sweetest; and her impeccable design taste made planning a breeze- and tons of fun for us both. When I did finally meet Jeff it was apparent to me that they are meant to be and that they absolutely bring out the best in each other. What more could you ask for in life? Thanks to the awesome Samuel (of Samuel Lippke Studios) for always being so great to work with and for the stunning photographs from the day. Enjoy:)

Sophia had not one, but two breathtaking Vera Wang gowns.

With their more intimate guest count, we were able to have some fun with the layout of the room. Sophia loved my idea to incorporate an ‘X’ shaped table- and the incredible Nisie took it to the next level with her exquisite florals.

Stephanie and Simon definitely know how to throw a fun party! Their wedding was the perfect reflection of who they are as a couple- stylish, unique, and soooooo much fun. They did an incredible job including so many personal touches throughout- my favorite being the adorable caricature a friend designed for them, that carried all the way from the invitations to the menus. Judy and Justin are getting married in March (coming up fast!!) at the exquisite Pelican Hill Resort. I love that their engagement session perfectly expresses their adorable and playful love- they are totally smitten with each other and it definitely shows. One of the best kinds of love, in my opinion- the smitten kind! Victor (of Victor Sizemore Photography) is to thank for the photos- here are a few of my favorites.

Natalie + Joey’s Seven Degrees Wedding, Laguna Beach

Natalie and Joey are absolute soul mates. The sparkle that appears in each of their eyes when together is undeniable- truly they complete each other and understand one another in a way that makes forever seem not long enough. I was fortunate enough to have met them both, and beyond that, help them to create a day worthy of their love and the union they have formed. Their vision for a modern yet glamorous wedding at Seven Degrees was a dream to help design- and with an amazing team on-board including Shawna Yamamoto Event Design and Jasmine (of Jasmine Star Photography), the day was set from the beginning to be one for the books.
