Brittney + Dave’s Wedding, St. Malo, Oceanside

Brittney and David shared an absolutely perfect day at a most special venue- the charming beachside community of St. Malo Beach in Oceanside. I have been so honored to plan several weddings at this private venue, where the only way to host your wedding there is to own a home within St. Malo. With ties to both the East Coast and the West Coast, we set out to embrace elements from both areas and developed the theme of  ‘East Coast meets West Coast Seaside-Inspired Elegance’ as an undertone for the design and guest experience. I adore working with the talented John (of John Schnack Photography) and will let his beautiful images from the day do allllll the talking. Enjoy:)

The classic silhouette of Brittney’s Suzanne Neville gown from the Wedding Atelier suited her perfectly!

Adrienne + Craig’s Wedding, St. Regis Monarch Beach, Dana Point

Adrienne and Craig’s wedding at the St. Regis Monarch Beach (now Monarch Beach Resort) was a chic white and gold dream. Let’s start with Adrienne’s KILLER Galia Lahav gown- literally drop dead gorgeous and fit her absolutely perfectly. Vows were exchanged overlooking the rolling greens of the golf course with the ocean waves crashing just beyond. The sun really seemed to sparkle just for the two of them! After guests enjoyed the sunset and cocktails on the lawn adjacent to the ceremony, we moved into a favorite space of mine at the resort- Club 19. Gold chandeliers hung under billowing ivory fabric while twinkling candlelight illuminated the lush ivory centerpieces. One of my favorite design elements was the custom monogram that Honeycrisp Designs created for them- it made several appearances on the wedding day from the gold foil menus to the five-tier cake. My good friend Crissy (of Christine Farah Photography) was such a wonderful fit to photograph this beautiful day- I chose my favorites from her images below. Enjoy:)

Elizabeth + Karl’s Wedding, The Ranch at Laguna Beach, Laguna Beach

Elizabeth and Karl had the sweetest of weddings filled with all kinds of special moments. The day started with all the girls gathered at Elizabeth’s childhood home, which always is such a personal start to the day. A traditional Catholic Ceremony followed at St. Thomas More Catholic Parish, and then we were off the incredibly charming Ranch at Laguna Beach to dance the evening away under the stars. I adore this little hidden gem of a venue so much- tucked away in the canyons of Laguna Beach, it doesn’t get more beautiful than this! I loved that they wanted to embrace the natural rustic vibe of the setting so we opted for soft and neutral tones accented with wooden elements. It was a pleasure working with Ning (of Ning Wong Studios) for the first time. Below are some of the many beautiful images from the day- the wedding was also featured on Reverie Gallery so be sure to check that out HERE. Enjoy:)

April + Roger’s Wedding, Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel

April and Roger picked the seaside Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel– with such breathtaking views of the Pacific how could they not want to spend their special day at this one-of-a-kind location? They set out to create a classic evening with a dash of glamour for all their guests to enjoy. Touches of bling, touches of blush, and rich gold accents created a sweet yet luxurious environment. I always love having Joe and Mirta (of Barnet Photography) alongside me to photograph the day. Below are my favorites from their images- enjoy:)

I adored April’s intricate Lazaro gown in all it’s ruffly glory- and bling, of course! She purchased it at Panache Beverly Hills. Oh and let’s not forget her sparkly metallic Jimmy Choo‘s!

The guys were looking sharp in their tuxedos from The Black Tux.

Eileen + Vinny’s Wedding, Montage, Laguna Beach

Eileen and Vinny’s seaside wedding at the Montage Laguna Beach was a favorite. Expertly designed by bridesmaid (and my dear friend) Vanessa Noel Events, they embraced a color palette that included vibrant shades of pink and a one-of-a-kind flower- bougainvillea. Anyone who has tried to incorporate this finicky flower into a centerpiece knows it is not an easy feat, but the team at Stella Bloom Designs pulled it off perfectly. The day was a perfect representation of the fun-loving NYC based couple, with touches like custom NY Mets corn hole boards at cocktail hour, and bagel chips (a favorite NY snack) for guests to take home as favors. Below are my favorite images from their photographer Henry (of Aevitas Weddings)- enjoy:)

Eileen is a girl after my own heart- her classic Jimmy Choo heels and stunning earrings from Lugano Diamonds made the perfect bridal accessories!

Eileen’s Marisa gown had a subtle soft blush underlay that perfectly accented her bridal glow- purchased from the mecca of bridal salons, Kleinfeld Bridal.

Reem + Abdullah’s Wedding, Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel

Reem and Abdullah had an intimate summer wedding at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel. Their glamorous celebration started with an outdoor seaside reception featuring a clean and crisp all-white palette that allowed all the gorgeous colors of the ocean do all the talking. After tea, coffee, and both sweet and savory treats outside, guests were welcome into the Plaza Room where we introduced Tiffany Blue into the palette- a favorite color of Reem’s. Each guest was even gifted their very own little blue box with an elegant silver pen inside. A memorable evening photographed perfectly by the team at Lin & Jirsa. Below are my favorite images- enjoy:)

Reem’s exquisite couture gown with the most dramatic train I have ever seen, was designed by Point Glamour Fashion by Selma Karoui based in the UAE. Breathtaking!

Christina + Will’s Wedding, St. Regis Monarch Beach, Dana Point

Christina and Will’s beautiful summer wedding at the St. Regis Monarch Beach (now the Monarch Beach Resort) was the stuff that dreams are made of. Big billowy clouds of Baby’s Breath and garden roses galore soft shades from blush to ivory created a spectacular ballroom environment for guests to enjoy. I also loved the understated elegance in their ceremony altar décor- an array of floral pieces adorned a distressed credenza piece to lend an upscale residential vibe to the space. Always a great time working alongside Jasmine (of Jasmine Star Photography); below are my favorite of her images from the day. Enjoy:)

Niki + Eric’s Wedding, Terranea, Palos Verdes

Niki and Eric came to me initially with some pretty distinct ideas about the color palette for their Terranea wedding (coral and gray with shades of white mixed in), but beyond that they were totally open to ideas and eager to plan. Since their wedding was a wonderful blend of both of their cultures and backgrounds- Niki being Indian, Eric hailing from a Jewish family- we knew the day was going to be unique and unlike any other wedding. Embracing elements of both cultures and incorporating two different ceremonies into the day we were able to play around a bit with their palette and vary the look of the multiple events. The Indian ceremony was filled with vibrant colors and a traditional set-up at the front of the wedding where the Priest performed their ceremony with family participating. Following this there was an al fresco lunch featuring Indian cuisine, so we planned to keep it light and bright with rich peach linens, bright white florals, and small peacock statues on tables for guests to enjoy. Later on, their Jewish ceremony was kept clean and bright with white draping and white florals adorning the arbor which acted as their chuppah. When guests finally entered the ballroom they were greeted with vibrant lighting, rich gray linens, and beautiful ombre centerpieces of varying heights and compositions. Overall their day exuded the incredible energy the two have as a couple, and was an absolutely perfect celebration of their love. And I’m not the only one who thinks this day was magical- Design Dawg’s put together a fabulous feature that you can see HERE. Below are some of my favorite images from their amazing photographer Brian (of Brian Leahy Photography)- enjoy:)

Niki’s first of two white dresses was a gorgeous St. Patrick gown fit for a princess!
