Lauren + Scott’s Wedding, Adamson House, Malibu

Lauren and Scott are an adventurous duo. I love that their engagement occured around the world, during a candlelit dinner on a beach in Thailand. Totally the stuff that romance novels are made of. Their life together is filled with fun, so of course their wedding followed suit! They chose the historic Adamson House in Malibu as the setting for their personal and meaningful ceremony, and then followed it up with a off-the-hook party under the stars while the waves crashed nearby. I mean how could it not be a party with Stir Father playing nothing but the best 80′s covers to keep the dance floor packed? We are all lucky to be able to relive the day through the lense of the talented (and adorable!) Suthi Picotte (of Picotte Weddings). And now for my favorite images from the special day:

Lauren’s one-shoulder La Sposa gown was, to say the least, amazing. And just perfect for her!

There are a million different places to take pictures at the Adamson House- I am sure Suthi would agree that she could have easily walked around for hours without running out of inspiration. And then of course there is the fact that these two are gorgeous together…

Lauren put her heart and soul into filling the day with tons of little personal touches. I tell all my clients- the day is all about you two, so make it whatever you want it to be!

Fan + Solomon’s Wedding, Wayfarers Chapel and Trump National Golf Club, Rancho Palos Verdes

Fan and Solomon’s wedding was an absolutely beautiful day feauturing two gorgeous locations and lots of elegant details. I loved their choice of color palette- being that the reception was held at the Trump National Golf Club, gold was a natural choice; but they spiced it up with shades of red, burgundy, and coral. Made for a very rich and vibrant reception space! Working with Jay Hsiang (of Jay Studio Photography) was an absolute breeze- he captured the essence of the day fantastically. Wayfarers Chapel always makes for a breathtaking ceremony backdrop- the Lloyd Wright (son of Frank Lloyd Wright) designed chapel has definitely become an icon in its own right.

I loved the bridesmaids fun and flirty gowns!

…the newlyweds were off to Trump National Golf Club for some more incredible coastal views.

The giant coral peonies used throughout the floral design are an absolute favorite of mine!

The time has almost come to turn the page and close the book on 2010. Amazing to reflect back on all the year has brought- so many smiles, so much love, really great clients and memories galore! I know that 2011 will be as incredible, if not more, and I look forward to all that is in store.
